Project Halo (Washer Panel Interface) by Juan Yi Zhang
2012 - 2013, Bronze A' Interface and Interaction Design Award Winner
When we get a washer, we still have to read instruction book and learn how to use it for hours. There are lots of buttons or a wheel for different function , just make user confuse. So we’ d like to find a better way for everyone. And we also want our washer could tell us how much resource we used for laundry, maybe we could have a new view for daily life and environment.
This is an brand new interface concept for washer. You will find it much more easier to use on this touch screen than lots of buttons or a big wheel. It will lead you to select step by step but not make you think so much. We want it display different color visualizer when you select different fabric and cycle type, so it can be a cool thing for your home now. Your phone will be a remote, you will get notice and report on it, and send command to your washer through the internet.
