Inspiration
We were tasked with creating the branding and packaging for a new refreshing sparkling lemonade product innovation. The brand comes to life in-store, through various brand events and activations, and at home. The design evokes a crafted and world of sparkling lemonade. The design and visual language of Lemon Lemon creates a world of lemonade. It is a bubbly reminder to escape to a more natural, relaxed place. Referencing classic and iconic lemonade vernacular, but with a modern twist.
Creativity
7up Lemon Lemon is where sparkling water, 6% lemon juice, and a touch of sweetness come together for fresh, fizzy goodness. The visual language combines the appeal of the vintage world of nostalgic lemonade with whimsical and modern design elements. The bright color palate is based on the colors of real fruit found in nature and the bold stripes are the backdropto the Lemon Lemon universe, creating a sense of flow and movement, which helps the packaging pop at shelf.
Design Challenges
PepsiCo Design and Innovation did not encounter any design challenges while designing the award winning 7up Lemon Lemon Brand Packaging.
Production Technology
From an engineering point of view, the 7up Lemon Lemon Brand Packaging by PepsiCo Design and Innovation is a good example of a highly-developed project.
